Snap One is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of smart solutions for homes and businesses to make life better–all installed and supported by trusted professionals worldwide.

In late 2024, Snap One was acquired by ADI Global, expanding their smart technology offerings and distribution capabilities across the residential and commercial markets. 

Working within the creative services department as a designer at Snap One + ADI means being an integral partner in the launch, execution, planning, marketing, and lifecycle of our 1P and 3P products. This includes designing for an abundance of mediums and forms, including, but not limited to: brand pages, banner ads, email campaigns, social media, tradeshow booths, magazine ads, catalogs, endcaps, flyers, postcards, and more.

Designing for one brand can be more than enough, but beneath our Snap One brand, we proudly make and market more than 15 first-party products, each with their own distinct look and feel.

From outdoor, full-shade TVs with Sunbrite, to high-end audio solutions with Triad, there is always something new and exciting to dive into.

Trade shows are a constant in the life of Snap One, with us making the rounds multiple times a year to shows like CEDIA, ISC, and InfoComm, and ISE.

As a designer, these projects were all-encompassing: we would work hand-in-hand with our copywriters, event planners, marketing managers, and vendors to ensure every detail was correct and reflected our brand values.

Not only were the booths multi-faceted projects, but each trade show came with a litany of additional materials, like badges, placards, kiosks, hanging banners, email campaigns, and more.

The annual ASU+GSV Summit is held in San Diego, and for the 2022 event it was a “return to normal” after COVID. The event required an enormous amount of collateral— both digital and print. It was super exciting and challenging to design everything from speaker keynotes to over 40 separate meterboards for a Hall of Fame walk-through experience.

This project was an intense collaboration between dozens— if not hundreds— of stakeholders that required dedicated, itemized tracking of each of the hundreds of assets created; from digital signage that changed every 30 seconds, stage backdrops, giant checks, floor stickers, directional signage, meeting room swag, and even 3D signage.

The Philanthropy Impact Report is a yearly publication sent out to over 6,000 alumni, faculty, and staff across the university. It serves to inform and celebrate the most impactful donations and philanthropic endeavors by highlighting special projects, scholarships, initiatives, and donors who have made the most impact.

I was able to art direct and design the report in it’s entirety, working with various stakeholders across the division to pull it all together.

My work at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University consisted of a plethora of mediums, including, but not limited to: pins, shirts, postcards, letterheads, envelopes, digital banners, presentations, yard signs, posters, a-frames, stickers, and more. This section serves as a sampling of some of those pieces.

End results are to drive alumni-engagement and continue to inspire donors to give, growing ERAU’s amazing culture of philanthropy.

A small sample of the pharmaceutical work I’ve had the pleasure of working on.

This piece was part of a campaign that involved designing a printed mailer. Here, the challenge was working out how to effectively display and organize information that could become easily confusing into a system that would incentivize the audience to sign up.

Crying While Eating is a brand-concept that stems from a desire for my design work to come from a more personal place. At it’s core, it’s a lifestyle brand, except the brand is myself and the lifestyle is kind of a big inside joke. The 7 original designs featured here were developed from my own life’s journey, and are reflective of certain periods of my life, as well as actual events.

It’s my hope that Crying While Eating will serve as a way to imbue very particular, personal parts of my life into my work again, while also inspiring others to take a chance on themselves and their own art.

The first of the designs, aptly titled “Dead Dads,” is a mild jab at my own strange pull towards a lot of music that deals with the loss of fathers.

The focal point of “William Beckett” is this image of me at 17 years old, where I weighed just shy of 600 lbs. William Beckett is the lead singer of popular 2000’s emo band “The Academy Is…” and was known for his long, lush hair and skinny frame (and his voice, too, I guess). “I sort of look like William Beckett” is a thing I very dumbly told a girl on the internet a long time ago, when it is, indeed, the most untrue of lies.

“Headache” is up next, and it’s intent is two-fold. The first goal is for the viewer to want to read into the design and layered background. The second is to have the design itself be rather oppressive to look at with it’s stark contrast and fluorescent colors.

This design is titled “No Show,” and is about something I’ve struggled with for a long time: the fact that I do not want to go to your (art, music, talent, etc) show, and it’s only because if I do, I won’t get to stay at home and eat alone.

“Nipples” has it’s origin in reality. This was a question I was asked once, and it was one of those questions that really stuck with me (obviously). As I was getting consultation done for a skin-removal surgery, the surgeon calmly and plainly asked me this, to which I had no reply, except for, “Uh, wherever you think is best?"

“September Guy” may require a little legwork to really “get.” The best course of action would be to get on Instagram and search for the account called “FacebookShirts.” There’s a very strange market for hyper-specific, hyper-aggressive shirts that often market professions like welders or bus drivers, or birth months. This is my skewed take on being a September Guy.

Hand-wrapped chocolates were given out to the first batch of hosts in the series.

I was tasked with assembling the January - June 2019 edition of Incredible Discounts. This included overseeing the layout, design, and production.

This project was wonderful experience for working within guidelines of style and art guides, while still requiring this edition to feel unique and creative.

These are a selection of the CastTV slides I’ve worked on. They include a series of templates that were required to match the look and feel of our in-house magazine, Eyes & Ears, as well as an International Women’s Day slide to advertise an extra handout available to Cast Members.

CastTV is a communication vehicle used throughout the entirety of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Strategically located widescreen displays broadcast pertinent information, events, and opportunities which are located all throughout backstage areas.
